E-Trade Leases 107,000 SF

Harborside PlazaJERSEY CITY-E-Trade Financial Corp. has signed a lease for 106,573 sf of office space at Harborside Financial Center here. Specifically, the financial services provider signed on at Harborside Plaza 2, where it had been subleasing 37,970 sf.

“We’re delighted that E-Trade has signed on and expanded its presence as a long-term tenant at Harborside,” says Mitchell Hersh, president and CEO of the Edison-based Mack-Cali Realty Corp., which owns the building. “This lease significantly enhances the long-term value of this complex.”

With the signing, which carries a term of 15 years and seven months, the class A 761,200-sf building is now 100% leased. Further terms of the lease were not released.

Mark Ravesloot, Robert Stillman, Douglas Lehman and Scott Sloves of CB Richard Ellis all represented the tenant, while Mack-Cali was represented in-house by director of leasing Thomas Savoca.
