JCEDC is a non-profit corporation that works on behalf of the Mayor and members of the Municipal Council of Jersey City to promote economic growth. Together, we have transformed Jersey City into aworld-class center for business, residences, the arts and culture.
In partnering with a variety of acclaimed companies (such as Brown Brothers Harriman, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase and Merrill Lynch), millions of square feet of Class-A office facilities have been established and occupied. These businesses bring jobs and resources to Jersey City. They also create opportunities for the development and growth of other businesses.
Our collaborative efforts have also resulted in an unprecedented number of housing developments, with luxury AND affordable homes and apartments bringing new residents and new life to every neighborhood in Jersey City.
